Hints of raspberries, violets, and herbs on the nose. On the palate, velvety tannins and a medium body make for an elegant, yet structured wine.  Oak aged for 9 months to provide soft notes of vanilla on the finish.

Food pairing: Medium to heavy meat dishes, especially with a tomato sauce; truffled dishes, lamb; medium aged-chesses.
