Pronounced violets and floral aromas mixed with cardamon, tobacco, leather, blackberry, black cherry, blueberry, bramble, vanilla, white pepper, and a whiff of oak. The palate is dominated by blue and black fruit with fresh and compote tones. Secondarily featuring dark chocolate, smoke, cracked black pepper, beef jerky, herbs mix, earthy, tobacco, and bottle aging wonderfulness. The medium plus flavor intensity is lifted by acidy, muscular tannins resulting in a full-bodied wine with a long finish. There are layers of complexity that evolve in the bottle.
