Deep rosé cider blend of Winesap and York infused with wild mulberries. It is a semi-sweet cider with minerality, tropical notes, and a hint of black currant.
Mulberries are a tree fruit native to Virginia. Prior to the modern era, they were highly valued as a rare source of sweetness in the early summer. In partnership with Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden and a small army of foragers, each spring Blue Bee Cider collects whatever mulberries it can throughout Greater Richmond. This product is highly susceptible to spring freezes and crop failure, making its return to the tap room a subject of great fanfare. Semi-sparking. 1.0% RS
