70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep ruby in color. Bright, thick aromas of bramble, blueberry, blackberry, black plum, violets, red currants, and raspberry fruit notes. Continuing to the palate, and notes of black cherry. Bottle aging flavors add a gravely expression of earth tones and wet leave funk. This is a dry wine with medium acidty and satisfying, grippy medium-plus tannins and an intense medium-plus finish.
