100% Malbec. Rare find for Virginia! Made in collaboration with Turk Mountain Vineyards. Fermented in stainless. Fermented in stainless, malo in barrel, 10 months in neutral French Oak. Deep ruby with a magenta rim. Floral forward nose with violets, black cherry, smoke, black plum. Aromas extend to the palate with the addition of a sour cherry note, hints of smoke, and baking cocoa. Medium acidity, body, and tannins. Medium plus finish of cherries and cocoa.
Food Pairing: burgers, blue cheese, mushrooms, duck, chicken, pork shoulder, funky and rich soft cow or goat cheese.
