80% Nerello Mascalese and 20% Nerello Cappuccio. Vulka has a rich aromatic profile with floral hints and notes of red berry and spices. On the palate, experience the terroir’s mineral expression, followed by a mirid of red fruit complexity to include red cherry, cranberry, sour cherry. Mid palate, there are hints of smoke, earth, anise, cinnamon. Really mild oak aging, more for the malolactic fermentation cream touch. Soft tannins display good structure with medium body and an enjoyable length finish. 

Food Pairing: Ideal with tasty pasta dishes, pizza Margherita, Sirloin steak, roasted meats, and semi aged cheese, but also good with flavorful seafood like seared tuna steak
