Original survey documents describe a road which was to run through the Estate family vineyard. Happily the Paper Road was never formed, and instead, gives its name to this individual range of wines

100% Pinot Noir. This is about the purity of Pinot Noir with spicy savory and bright, juicy, red fruits. The approach begins a light touch of earth, ripe strawberry, raspberry, and florals on the nose. The flavors hold through to the palate mixing tart and sweet cherry fruits with a bit of stewed tomato, white pepper, and wet stone. It is medium-bodied with soft velvety tannins. It has a lightly oaked finish and a spicy zestiness to the lingering aftertaste.

Food Pairing: king salmon, mussels, charcuterie platters (prosciuttos to salami paired with olives, and baked brie). butter nut squash, risotto, and roasted nuts, spicy duck pancakes, grilled quail, pulled or char siu pork, cherries, and figs
