60%Touriga Nacional, 40%Touriga Franca. Took a little while to come alive. Deep ruby color. Aromas of iris, lilac, rose, black plum, blackberry, vanilla, oak, graphite, red cherry. Turing to the palate added strawberry, red cherry, pomegranate, bramble, thyme, sage, sweet cinnamon fireball, walnut, caramel, with a little cream on the finish. High everything; acidity, tannin which are fine grain, full body, and intensity of flavors. Layers of complexity carefully and intentionally crafted.
