100% Carmenere. This wine needs about 45 minutes of decanting before drinking. The color is a deep ruby with the meniscus is showing tinges of garnet color. Savory aromas of leather, barnyard funk, herbal, earth, raspberry, bramble and tomato leaf. Flavors expand upon the aromas adding cranberry, strawberry, blackberry, thyme, black pepper. This is a full body wine with high, fine grained tannins, and medium plus acidity. Wine evolves in the glass showing a wealth of complexity and intensity, landing a pleasant finish.
