We’ll travel through the Douro Valley, examine its vineyards and subregions, and discuss the grapes, fortification, fermentation and aging techniques that define Port. Along the way, we’ll taste through a selection of Pacheca Ports, comparing styles from Ruby and LBV to Tawny, Vintage and aged Ports, while exploring what “10, 20, 30 and 40 Year” really means and how time transforms the wine in the glass.
