Kathie recently returned from an incredible cheesemonger event in New York with a suitcase full of amazing cheeses—and even more stories to tell. Already passionate about cheese, she came home inspired and eager to share what she learned about artisan cheeses, the people who make them, and why certain wine pairings work so beautifully.
So we're turning it into an impromptu Wine Cru Mixer! Kathie will guide us through a selection of the cheeses she brought back while we open a few wines to discover some delicious pairings together. Come hungry, curious, and ready to help us make short work of all that cheese!
Step inside the world of Port with a behind-the-scenes look at Quinta da Pacheca through exclusive videos from the estate, followed by a guided exploration of what makes Port unique. We’ll travel through the Douro Valley, examine its vineyards and subregions, and discuss the grapes, fortification, fermentation and aging techniques that define Port. Along the way, we’ll taste through a selection of Pacheca Ports, comparing styles from Ruby and LBV to Tawny, Vintage and aged Ports, while exploring what “10, 20, 30 and 40 Year” really means and how time transforms the wine in the glass.
Funny Man and beloved City Vino wine rep, Jon Yeager is coming to City Vino to share jokes and wine. He is bringing with him comics that have played at DC Improv and have appeared on TV. Can't name drop, you just must come see who it is. Included are four comics paired with four wines and a light snack. By the glass, bottles sales, and other food menu items for purchase.

Come tickle the tiles and your taste buds! Whether you're brand new to Mahjongg, sharpening your skills, or already love the game, there's a seat waiting for you. Enjoy two hours of guided, social play in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Ticket includes: one glass of wine, popcorn, your seat at the table, guided and social play.

There’s no script, no rehearsal, and absolutely no guarantee that the story will make sense.
