100% Sangiovese. On the nose, rose peony, cherry red currant, cedar, a little spice, and earth. On the palate mirrors the aromas with the red fruits and big red cherry. To add, there are flavors of black cherry, blackberry, tomato leaf, and baking spices. Underlying mid palate notes of dried tomato, vanilla, cedar, earthiness. It just has a wonderful balance between fruit and wood notes and a long, pleasant finish.
Food Pairing: meaty ragu, Bolognese, cracked pepper and a generous amount of olive oil, pecorino cheese, salami
