100% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru village of Chouilly. Lightly French floral, apple, pear, bruised apple, Asian pear, peony, iris, lemon-lime, zest, creamy, butter-brioche, lightly toast. Followed by flavors of pineapple, apricot, that finishes with wet stone and saline. Off dry, high acid, with creamy delicate perlage. Medium flavor intensity with a refreshing medium plus finish. The wine is balanced between having just enough sweetness and fruitiness to take the edge off the high acidity.
