60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Cinsault, 10% Mourvèdre. Deep ruby red color reflecting hints of purples. Jumping out of the glass are notes of garrigue perfume, sandalwood, and fruit notes of red plum, raspberry, strawberry, and a touch of coco. This wine is dry with medium plus acid and tannins that are finely grained. There is an intensity of flavors starting with the chocolates probably due to the few years of ageing. Red fruit flavors of raspberry, strawberry, red cherry are still noticeable. Mid palate, less prevalent flavors of dried herbs, earth, liquorish. It ends with a long finish. The complexity is driven by the concentration and layering of flavors and the weight of the tannins lending to a medium plus body.
