A harmonious and complex nose with notes of blackberry, black cherry, black plum, violets, blackberry jam, chocolate, toasted wood tones, leather, white pepper, spice, lightly herbaceous. Adding in the palate, flavors of light green bell pepper, charr wood, vanilla, kalua, and coffee. Juicy medium acidity is balanced by course, medium tannins resulting in a medium plus body, an engaging amount of complexity and a long finish.
Food Pairing: Magellan pork or lamb and mild sauces (cream). It is also suggested to accompany it with vegetable stews, strong and creamy cheeses such as Brie and Camembert, as well as with fatty fish, such as tuna or salmon, aubergines stuffed with cheese, roasted peppers, well-spiced game birds (pepper quail) and pasta in all its expressions (Spaghetti with Caruzo sauce, gnocchi, etc.).
