100% Refossco: Deep ruby color with purple highlights. The nose slowly becomes explosive with expression of bramble, herbs, sour cherry, earth, vanilla, oak, smoke and dried berries. Expanding on flavors, black plum, blackberry, blueberry, thyme, licorice, anise, dried prunes, cooked blackberry, with a touch of expresso and sweet spices. This is a dry, fairly concentrated juicy wine with silky, ripe, tannins which creates a round mouthfeel underpinned by a fruity aftertaste that lingers on.
