95% Sangiovese, 5% Alicante Bouschet. Ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of dark cherry and fig with notes of sweet spice, espresso and fresh herbs. Persistent ripe cherry fruit, wild berry, pomegranate, fresh cracked pepper, sage, and ocean brine on the palate, bold, ripe tannins that are balanced by acidity. Finish is slightly smoky with a medium plus finish.
