100% Alicante Bouschet. Deep opaque purple with ruby highlights. Medium intensity aromas filled with black cherry, black plum, forest berries, violets, black currants, compote, coco, vanilla, subtle dried spices. Continuing to the palate a complex layering of fresh and compote fruit notes with undertones of dark chocolate wood tones, hints of leather cream, black pepper corn, dried blackberry, spice, and cola on the finish. Medium plus intensity, with medium plus, fine grain tannins. Medium acidity gives a little bit of a lift. Then left with a long forest berry finish.
