Fruity black fruit aromas of black current, blackberry, black plum followed by freshly split vanilla bean, plummy sweet tart, cherry compote, and lightly mint and fennel. Nuances on the palate add coco nibs, hard candy, roasted mushrooms, soy, dried cherries, cedar box, ground tobacco, milk chocolate, leather, smoke, earth, and graphite. This is a dry wine with medium acidity, high very silky tannins, medium plus body. It is a very elegant wine with structure and bold intensity of fruit that resoles and a long mocha finish.
