2/3 Blend is Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo), 1/3 blend a mix of field varieties. Deep purple in color. Expressive aromas of bramble, rose, cream toast, blackberry, blueberry, plum, wood box, with softer aroma of earth. Continuing to the palate, flavors of black currant, cooked blackberry, and tobacco. Mid palate with round smoke, burnt sugar, and leather. This is a dry wine with medium-plus acidy, high, chalky tannins, medium body, medium-plus flavor intensity, rounding to a medium-plus finish.
