Continuing to the flavors which also include black pepper, vanilla, oak, cooked blackberry, dried blackberry and cranberry, earthy, wet leaves, tobacco, and chocolate. This is a full body, high, fine grained, integrated tannins wine with medium acidity, medium plus flavor intensity and a persistent long, velvety finish.
Food Pairings: Porcini mushroom, foie gras, piglet, prune stew, honey glazed duck breast, grilled swordfish, dauphinois potatoes, creamy garlic with lentils, brie and walnuts.
