100% Zinfandel. Deep ruby in color. Aromas of toast, cream, blackberry, blueberry, black plum, lavender, Chinese five spice, hoisin, red currants, cranberry, spice, fig, dried date, dried bramble. Continuing to the palate, sweet tobacco, black currants, anise, licorice, and black pepper. This is s dry wine that needs a little time to open up. But patients is reward with the classic elegance of Zinfandel with a lingering medium plus finish.
