Blend of Syrah, Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo), Castelão, Touriga Franca. Medium Ruby in color. Medium aroma intensity blasting blackberry, black plum, blueberry, bramble, red florals, with lighter notes of char, vanilla, and earth. Continuing to the palate note of prune, fig, ripe cherry, chocolate, dried herbs, toast, and wet stone. This is a dry wine with medium acidty, medium chalky tannins. It holds a medium flavor intensity which is balanced between the rustic chalky tannins, the thick, crunchy-jam body, and the medium finish with vanilla, wet leaves, and red berries.

Food Pairing: steak, roasted octopus, potatoes, mushroom risotto, braised short ribs, tomato based dishes, soft cheese, charcuterie, pork.
