100% Petit Manseng. Medium lemon in color. Fragrant florals of apple blossoms and honeysuckle, followed by cantaloupe, white pear, ginger, pineapple, vanilla, and sur-lie cream. Following to the palate, flavors of apricot, fruit cocktail, toast, with warm cinnamon, dried apple and earth. This is a dry, really fruity wine that sits with fat juice on the palate. The gentle medium acidity adds to the weight in conjunction with the concentration of flavors. Fairly complex wine that develops on the palate and then beautifully lingers there.
Food Pairing: Seafood or heavier white fish like halibut with buttery sauces, pork, Asian dishes, and soy (umami) flavors.
