100% Petite Sirah. Deep purple in the glass, this bold Petite Sirah bursts with concentrated aromas of black cherry, black plum, prune, blackberry, blueberry, and bramble, layered with notes of violet, cream, smoky wood, tobacco, marzipan, dried cherry, and berry compote. A subtle kiss of black pepper adds lift to the nose. On the palate, dark and red fruits continue with black currant, red cherry, and dried blackberry, supported by dried herbs, chocolate, walnut paper, and a hint of toffee. This is a dry wine with medium acidity, but it’s the whopping high, fine-grained tannins and full, velvety body that define its structure. Layers of intense, evolving flavors coat the palate, culminating in a long, lingering finish. A powerful yet elegant expression.
Food Pairing: short ribs, grilled lamb chops with rosemary, or a pepper-crusted New York strip steak. It also complements rich dishes like mole poblano, Moroccan lamb tagine, roasted portobello mushrooms, or a lentil and walnut stew. For cheese pairings, try aged Gouda, Manchego, sharp cheddar, or a decadent blue.
