100% Barbera. Deep red color. Perfume aromas with red cherries, potpourri, blue berries, dried blackberries, sugarcoated almonds, and baking spice. Additional flavors of honeysuckle, black currant leaf, raspberries, strawberries, black plum, pastry, toast, cinnamon bark, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice. This is a dry wine with medium acidity, medium chalky tannins. Well made wine with structure that could endure again and develop or drink now. Medium flavor intensity and concentration that lend for a medium plus finish.
