100% Syrah. Deep purple color. Intense aromas of blackcurrant, violets, black plum, black cherry, bramble, and laurel leaf. Continuing to the palate, blackberry, dried herbs, black olive, toasty cedar, vanilla, biscuit, and earth. The wine is dry, medium acidity, medium plus chalky tannins, medium body and flavor intensity. Fairly complex for the entry level wine, show youthfulness and can be drunk now or hold on to develop bottle aging loveliness. The finish is medium plus, just extending with black fruit notes.
