40% Barbera, 40% Dolcetto, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Medium purple in color. Black currants, blackberry, dark cherry, cranberry, and slate on the nose are joined with hints of white blossom and smoke. Well integrated flavors on the palate with the additional notes of black plum, raspberry, strawberry, blueberry bramble and a light touch of anise on the finish. This is a dry wine with medium acidity, high but fine-grained tannins, body and finish at medium-plus.
