57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot. Deep purple in color. Aromas of violets, blackberry, blueberry, bramble, earthy, smoke, cassis, vanilla, toast, and gravel. Evolving on the palate black cherry, black currants, boysenberry, black plum, butter, dried cranberry, cooked blackberry, burnt brown sugar, crème brûlée, and leather. This is a dry wine with medium acidity, high chalky tannins. It is a full body with a fairly intense but balanced concentration of flavors that do unfold as time passes. Quite memorable with a medium plus finish.
