Evolving on the palate black cherry, black currants, boysenberry, black plum, butter, dried cranberry, cooked blackberry, burnt brown sugar, crème brûlée, and leather. This is a dry wine with medium acidity, high chalky tannins. It is a full body with a fairly intense but balanced concentration of flavors that do unfold as time passes. Quite memorable with a medium plus finish.
