Aromas of red cherry, raspberry, cherry liquor, strawberry, oak, tobacco, vanilla, chocolate, black pepper, black plum, currants, and spices. This is an elegant wine with soft tannin, medium acidity, medium-plus body, and a long lingering finish of dried herbs, earth, chocolate, and coffee. It drinks more like a "baby Châteauneuf" than a Côtes du Rhône.
