100% Çal Karasi. light‑ruby hue with a slightly translucent rim—reflecting the grape’s naturally modest colour intensity. On the nose there’s a core of bright red fruits, especially cherry and raspberry, with a subtle floral undertone and a hint of herbaceous/mineral edge that speaks of its clay‑limestone, high‑altitude vineyard in the Çal plateau. The primary flavours echo the nose—fresh cherry, wild raspberry and a touch of cranberry—while the secondary layer brings in gentle oak‑derived cedar and faint tobacco‑leaf, and a tertiary whisper of soft leather and forest‑floor begins to emerge. The wine is dry, with medium‑plus acidity that gives it energetic lift, and its tannins are discernible but smooth and modest in granularity—more silky than gritty—providing structure without heaviness. The body is light‑to‑medium, intensity of flavour sits at medium, and the finish is clean and enduring, with the red‑fruit echo lingering alongside a fine mineral thread.
