32% Zinfandel, 22% Cabernet Franc, 15% Alicante Bouschet, 10% Charbono (Bonarda), 7% Syrah, 6% Lagrein (Blaufrankish), 4% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Grenache. Medium purple in color. Medium plus aroma starting with fresh blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, vanilla, toast, with lighter notes of raspberry, black pepper, and baking spices. Flowing through to the palate, blueberry white pepper, smoke cooked blackberry, and sweet tobacco. The texture feels like carbonic maceration was used for a portion of production given the notes of cinnamon and soft, fine grained medium plus tannins. Ripe acidity adds to the backbone and helps to distribute the flavors across the palate. This is a dry wine with medium plus intensity which adds length to the medium plus finish.

Food Pairings: St Louis Spare Ribs, Twice Baked Potatoes, Hericot Vert with Pancetta, but if you're keeping it casual, Philly Roast Pork and Raab Sando's with garlic fries.

Andres Jones catalogs the interesting people and places he encounters as a vine nurse in his "Field Recordings",  captured in bottle for you to experience.
