100% Riesling. This pale gold wine shows classic Riesling aromas of wildflowers, diesel, baby powder, lemon-lime citrus, wet stone, and subtle tropical fruit undertones. On the palate, flavors of apple, nectarine peel, sour fruit, peach, apricot, melon, and toast emerge, complemented by a subtle, creamy, extra-virgin olive oil–like texture. This dry wine has medium-plus acidity and a full-bodied structure. The additional aging has allowed the wine’s complexity to develop and the fruit flavors to fully integrate. Pronounced in intensity, it finishes long and persistent.
Food Pairing: Apple, pear, roasted chicken, grilled salmon, spicy Thai dishes, creamy cheeses, sushi, light pork dishes, honey-glazed vegetables, shellfish, soft goat cheese, smoked fish, roasted root vegetables, seared scallops, citrus-marinated salads, lightly spiced sausages, and roasted almonds
