Region: The Delle Venezie region encompasses three northeastern Italian regions: Trentino-Alto Adige, Friuli Venezia Giulia, and Veneto. Veneto, by it self, produces about 1/5 of all of Italy's wine production.
History: In 1917, the grandfather of the current owner used part of his house for the sale of products derived from the vineyard. His son, Callisto, expanded by taking the wine to neighboring countries. In the 1970s Callisto’s sons, Bruno and Dario, developed and expanded the commercial part by collaborating with other Veneto producers. The higher volume of wine was needed to support export to northern Italy and much of Europe. Parolvini is now sold in Germany, Switzerland, Czeh republic, Poland, Romania, Scotland, Holland England, Croatia, and the US.
