75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot. This flagship red blend is unapologetically bold and expressive. The nose leads with fat aromas of blue and black fruit to include blackberry, blueberry, bramble, black currant, and violet which are lifted by a subtle touch of eucalyptus mint, red raspberry, and black plum, all wrapped in herbal undertones. With a bit of decanting, deeper layers emerge of vanilla, cream, leather, smoke, and char, setting the stage for a dark and brooding palate. Flavors cascade with intensity to include black cherry, black currant leaf, black pepper, Turkish espresso, mesquite, caramel, cocoa, dried blackberry, and a whisper of rain-wet leaves. A savory thread runs through the wine. A subtle bit of umami-laced blend of bacon fat and mushroom, adding unexpected depth and complexity. This is an elegant dry wine with medium acidity, high chalky tannins, and a full body. The flavor intensity is profound, strung across a long, layered finish that continues to evolve in the glass. 

Decanting for 30 minutes is recommended to unlock its full aromatic and textural range—but it's also ready to impress right out of the gate.
