Distinguished aromas of oak, tobacco, vanilla, cedar, chocolate, clove, leather, red cherry, raspberry, strawberry, sour cherry, balsamic, and violets. Evolving on the palate, black plum, blackberry, black cherry, black currants, licorice, herbs, smoke, black pepper, minerals, and forest floor. This is a full body, dry wine with high, fine grained, integrated tannins. The complex nature was created over the four years of bottle aging. Savoriness, dried and compote blue fruits, and earth tones linger for a long finish. Zesty and piquant with beautiful balance and finish.
