Continuing to the palate, black currant leaf, toasted black pepper corns, concrete, cream Brulé, pastry, chard wood, black cheery, cooked black fruit with a residual of dark chocolate baking power. This is a fairly complex evolving wine that need a little time to open up and tell its full story. Dry, medium acidity, high chalky tannins that do calm down a little after being opened, full body, medium intensity with a medium plus finish.
