85% Malbec, 9% Tannat, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon. Inky ruby-black in color. Herbal, saucy berry, cassis, jammy blue and blackberry, and violets on the nose. Concentrated flavors that evolve include blackberry mélange with notes of spice and earth, and a smooth succulent core of fresh blue fruit, chocolatey oak, mint, wild herbs, roasted black fruits that broadens into a velvety finish. Full body, soft, well-integrated tannins, medium acidity, with a savory long finish.
Food Pairing: Roasted meats–and all the better if the meats are grilled at an asado, or Argentine-style barbecue.
