90% Chambourcin blended with some free run juice. Named for a train that ran through the Bluestone Vineyard property in the early 1900's. Beautiful crimson in color with violet edges. Aromas and flavors are generous with lushes wild berry juice, black cherry, currants. This is an off dry wine with mouth water acidty, gentile tannins, and a medium finish.
