Big aromas of earth, dirt, red berries, red cherry, black plum, blackberry bramble, black leaf, black pepper, and as it opened up there were light floral tones, vanilla, warm cedar, ginger nutmeg notes. Aromas extended to the palate with the additions of black currant, black tea, toast. The wine changes as the it opens up with engaging complexities. Enveloping and structure with great unctuousness marked by its high, soft tannins. Full body wine with a silky sensation and a prolonged finish.
