100% Pinot Noir. Ile de Beaute translate into "The Isle of Beauty" Medium ruby color. Tart red cherry, earthy, red fruit compote on the nose followed by strawberry, cranberry, black cherry orange blossom, tomato leaf. Light notes of citrus, passion fruit and a finish of sour patch. This is a dry with with medium, chalky tannins, body and finish. Hallmarks of Burgundian style with an approachable price tag. 

Food Pairing: mushrooms, savory umami, risotto, buttery salmon, braised lamb, roast tender loin, medium-firm cheese like Gruyere, hard like Parmigiano Reggiano, or soft like camembert, brie, or mild wash rind cheese like Fontina.
