100% Chardonnay. Pale lemon in color. Vibrant fruit-based aromas of green apple, lemon-lime, pear, peach, passion fruit, with white flowers, and cream. Flowing to the palate, flavors of lemon curd, sour tart-Pezz, orange peel, ripe pineapple, toast, warm wood tones, burnt sugar, vanilla, brioche, warm bread, and toasted almonds. This is a dry wine with medium acidity which was calmed by lees aging and barrel fermentation which drives a medium plus body, with a creamy texture. There is a tension driven between the medium intensity of flavors and all the flavors vying for attention. Memorable long finish of croissant and spicy oak.

Food Pairing: Lobster with butter sauce, pan seared scallops with toasted almonds, roasted chicken with lemon, thyme and garlic, butternut squash risotto, grilled asparagus with hollandaise, triple cream brie or camembert, gruyere, lemon tart, almond croissant.
