100% Syrah. Deep purple in color. Bulging aromas of dark berry fruit compote, earthy funk, chocolate-char notes, with lighter notes of dried herbs. Following the palate notes of blackberry, blueberry, bramble, black plum espresso, savory mesquite beef jerky, clove, black pepper, walnut, five spice, with a touch of sweet tobacco. This is a dry wine with medium plus acid and high chalky tannins. Full concentration of flavors that do develop through the tasting. The richness does persist thought the medium plus finish.
