32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc, 22% Merlot, 17% Petit Verdot, 5% Malbec and 1% Syrah.  Deep ruby in color with purple highlights. This wine opens with dusty, ripe strawberry aromas, with bramble, blueberry, black cherry, followed by vanilla, violets, toast, leather, and sweet tobacco. Continuing to the palate cooked black cherry compote, black pepper, dried herbs and char. This is dry wine with medium acidity, medium plus - fine grained tannins, full body wine that decently has a lot to say. Will need about an hour of decanting, but WORTH the wait. Especially with the long finish which will leave you wanting. 

Food Pairing: Beef stew, grilled steak, hard strong cheese.
