100% Tempranillo. Deep purple color. Bounding aromas of violets, mesquite oaky tones, black cherry, black plum, blueberry, bramble, sweet tobacco leaves, leather, beef jerky, and earth. Further flavors of blackberry, lighter red fruit notes of red cherry-raspberry, dried blackberry, black currant, and balsamic. Mid-plate churns those bottle aging flavors that delightfully balances the density of the primary fruit flavors that still reside. This is a dry wine with medium plus, chalky tannins, body, and finish.
Food Pairing: roast lamb and suckling pig, red-meat stews and small game such as pheasant in a plum sauce
