100% Croatina (Bonarda). Deep purple in color. Aromas of Morello cherry, blueberry, violets, light earth, warm cinnamon bark, toasted anise. Continuing to the palate, flavors of cherry compote, tomato leaf, black cherry, allspice, and bramble. This is a dry wine with medium plus acidity, and medium plus chalky tannins. The red cherry and blueberry flavors meld between fresh and compote in texture with a lingering cola finish.
