The palate is layered with flavors of cassis, black cherry, ripe blackberry, plum, dark chocolate, espresso, cedar, graphite, and black pepper with subtle earthy undertones. Dry with medium-plus acidity, medium-plus fine-grained tannins, full body, medium-plus flavor intensity, and a long finish, the wine is powerful yet remarkably composed. The Petit Verdot provides depth and structure, Cabernet Franc contributes aromatic lift and freshness, while Merlot rounds the mid-palate with supple fruit.
