The palate is concentrated and layered with flavors of black plum, blackberry compote, dark cherry, licorice, cocoa, dried thyme, tobacco leaf, and a touch of leather emerging with air. Dry with medium acidity, medium-plus tannins with a chalky, slightly grippy texture, medium-plus body, medium-plus flavor intensity, and a long finish marked by dark fruit, spice, and savory earth.
