65% Merlot, 20% Petit Sirah, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Malbec. Deep ruby color. Opulent aromas of violets, rose, black cherry, black plum, bramble, blackberry, vanilla, with hints of tobacco, and leather. Continuing to the palate, flavors of red cherry, dried herbs, black pepper, saw dust, toast, cream, milk chocolate, mesquite, charr, dried cranberry, and a touch of farmyard. Thie is a dry wine with medium acidity, medium-plus tannins, medium body and medium-plus intensity of flavors, balanced with a long finish. This is rich dense, and savory with a lingering finish of warm spice.
